Al Pacino plays veteran LAPD detective Will Dormer, sent to a remote Alaskan town to investigate the murder of a teenage girl. But with the sun refusing to set during the Alaskan summer, Dormer's lack of sleep begins to take its toll, while his investigation draws him into a dangerous psychological game with the suspected killer, Walter Finch, played by Robin Williams.

As exhaustion, guilt and deception begin to blur the line between right and wrong, Dormer's grip on reality starts to unravel.

A tense and atmospheric early work from Christopher Nolan, Insomnia is an excellent choice for fans of crime thrillers, psychological dramas and outstanding performances.
